All of Christ, for All of Life, for All of the East Bay Area

Join us for worship on Sundays at 4 pm

Reformed Christian families in the East Bay who seek to understand and live by God’s word.

Welcome to St. Elijah’s Reformed

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God; therefore, it should inform how we love our neighbors, how we build our country, and how we raise our families. We affirm The Apostles’ Creed, The Nicene Creed, and The Three Forms of Unity. We hold that these historic Christian creeds and confessions sufficiently summarize the Biblical Christian Faith and are subordinate to the Sacred Scriptures. We aim to take on this faith that has come down through the generations, increase it in ourselves through faithful study and application of God’s Word, and instill it in future generations through preaching and education.

Our Future

We are a group of believers who desire, under God, to start a local CREC church in the Bay Area. We enter this commitment prayerfully, seeking God’s guidance, blessing, and the growth of his kingdom through the establishment of His Church.

We are supported in this endeavor by the Session of Trinity Covenant Church and are under the authority of their elders, Pastor Troy Martin, Teaching Elder Ben Alexander, and Parish Elders Aaron Palmer and Ron Myers. We would like to thank the elders and members of Trinity for their community, prayers, and encouragement during this journey.

Our Distinctives

We are united by Christ into His bride wherever she is found, for all God’s people are one body. This glorious reality being true, our reading of Sacred Scripture leads us to the following convictions that may differ from some of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We believe

  • There is one Covenant of Grace that spans the Old and New Testaments.

  • Children of believers are a part of this covenant and should be baptized and at the Lord’s table.

  • Salvation is entirely by God’s grace in Christ.

  • Christianity will spread through the nations, and the number and maturity of those under this covenant will continue to grow until the Kingdom of God is on Earth, as it is in Heaven.

Covenant Theology Series

What is Covenant Theology? How does it shape our understanding of God’s word and the role he’s given us in this world? Our member, Chris Close, aims to answer these questions and more as he discusses Covenant Theology with Saint Elijah’s Bible Study.
